Panathlon International

Panathlon International is a global non-profit organization founded in 1951 in Venice, Italy. It promotes ethics, fair play, and human values in sport. The organization is officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Its motto, “Ludis Iungit”, means “United by Sport.” Panathlon defends the rights of children and young people in sport. It fights against doping, corruption, discrimination, and violence. The movement encourages scientific research, education, and inclusion through sport. It brings together athletes, educators, and sports leaders worldwide. Local Panathlon Clubs operate in more than 30 countries. Panathlon is a strong voice for integrity and respect in global sport.

Panathlon International is the association of all “Panathlon Clubs”, essentially based on the voluntary work of its Club members. Panathlon is an international movement for the promotion and dissemination of culture and sporting ethics, officially recognized by the IOC. It aims to deepen, promote, and defend the values of sport as a tool for training and enhancing the individual, and as a vehicle of solidarity between people and communities around the world.
